heres mine
when i joined and got 100k i was orgasming as 100k back then was like 1m nowdays and when i gained full rune(without the platebody i had chainbody and med helm) i thought i was the best then lost it all at the gnome stronghold place

and every update in 2011 i have hated(except for freetrade)the wilderness can go **** itself



what are your stories?

I'm kidding, I got a real good one.

Ok, so when I joined in 2003, I basically screwed around with my friends and never really played it (Levelgrinding like everyone else) and the worst part of that all was everyone glithcing and duping items. I wasn't affected - I listed to a back then Pmod friend I had. Then one of my friends in RL got banned for taking duped items. That made me pissed and I tried filing reports to get him unbanned. That didn't work, so I left Runescape for a year or so. That was when I was 10.

When 04-05 rolled around (When Runescape 2, now which is Today's Runescape came out) I decided to log back in and give it a go. My best friend, my good old friend, stole my accounht. It wasn't "OH NOEZ, HE HACKED ME!!!" like it is today,I was a dumbass and told him my password. He had been playing on it since after he got banned and I quit. I recovered it (by beating his then prebubescant friend and started playing again. I soon found out he made a small fortune on this account (500k-1m) and it had memebers. Cool. Then it got banned. Why? Well, turns out that his "Small fortune" he had on my account was made from botting. I quickly sent a report with that he had stolen my account, botted on it and that it should be given back. They agreed, but they reset the account. Stats, Money and Membership. Wasn't too pissed. I was just happy to have nmy account back.

Then, for the next few years, I started to level up quickly, Ranged becoming my main trump card (Rune Knives > over half the pure community) and I trained on Green Dragons 'til about 70 or so. Then Jagex shagged free trade and the wilderness. You guys know what happned there.

I'll add more later, just felt I'd add a little bit here and there.
Oh, and Shane? I got a question : Why do you hate the New updates for Runescape so far? I think they're pretty beastly.

I can understand the rest of it, but why the clan updates? They're pretty beast tbh.

we dont need ****ing 10million people running around in a ****ing cape and having these clan ****bungholeabanners everywhere around runescape with this update they made everything confuseing and as i said when the update came out i will never ever ever make a ****ing clan or wear one of the ****ing capes/hold a banner

now why the **** was this update needed? Why not just join a clan chat(oh sorry i mean a ****ing friends chat) and you will appear as purple on the mini-map without a ****ing cape what did this update achive that a regular clan chat(oh i mean ****ing friends chat)couldent?

Granted, I see your point. It IS a bit confusing. The changes to the former Clan Chat "Now Friends Chat" made it incredibily hard for this update to work...

However, it allowed more Micromanagement of clans, as well as giving Offical support by Jagex for Clans, instead of using and promoting Clan Websites which could be scams and are always breaching the rules (Do not advertise website links).
 
i was like 8 and its was 03 i think.
i just gots my full mithril and i was teh ****.
also my dad was playing rs at that time.
so i just took a stroll around karamja and found a volcano.
then i saw a lesser demon and thought hmm? what is this? attack!
then i lost all i had and i cried so bad !!!!!

Swearing doesn't make you cool.

I don't like the clan updates either, as they make everything confusing.

It was back in 07 an I got bored of RS. I was like a lvl 70 with full rune g. I wanted to quit so I gave it to some drug dealer that lives near by. I then recovered it and I found like 15 Addy g sets. I then sold it to some website for $30(which is kind of amazing for that account), then in 09 or 10 , don't really remember, I recovered it from the website(Guessed on recoveries, never had mem, but I made up the sexiest story ever). The story was I wrote all my account information in my diary, and we moved to a new house and I left the diary at the old house. I then realized the pass was changed and I found the account for sale on a website. I then started to play agai raising my CB to 90 and getting up total lvl. I know have 30m cash. thats my story.

Shane, honestly, I'm loving these new updates and I think the only reason you're not is because you like to follow the crowd. A lot of people here seem to like the good ol' days of RuneScape (before limited trade, limited wilderness and HD came out), so you're following them. The updates are great. The new graphics are amazing, the new quests are more detailed and better worked on (on some occasions), new additions to skills as well as new skills themselves seem less repetitive than before, etc.

The clan camp update, though sometimes a bit annoying (what with people making one-man clans only to get the cape (sometimes resembling a skillcape (mostly in the free game))), is great. As was said before, it allows for better management of your clan, more support from Jagex, etc.

The reason you hate updates is because you're a noob. Runescape is fun once you're not level 50..

i have the best story.

one time, on runescape, i was mining. and get this, i got an ore.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. THOSE WERE THE TIMES....
 
I started playing back in like, 04-05 ish I remember making my firsat account and clicking world 1 to sign on first. I pretty my shat myself when I saw like 200 people around me in Lumbridge (after I took like an hour to get off tutorial island.) First thing I did was attack a man. I died. Attacked another. Died. Did that about three times and quit for like a month. Came back on and really started to play. For hours upon hours I'd kill cows in Lumbridge and go through the gate to the desert and sell cow hides 100gp each, took me weeks to work up to rune armor and weapons. I remember the look I had. Frog Mask, Power Amulet (Was the **** back then), Princely Tunic, Princely Leggings, and Leather Boots (Only boots you could get in F2p). I even remember paying girls to be my girl friend.. >.<

I could go on for hours. I'll stop there for now.
 
Not bull****

In the Old old old days of rs. I had 2 or 3 phat sets with extras. I ended saying I didn't like the game at the time. Quit, not to come back to the RS community 4 years later and completely forget the name of the account or even the password.

I still try to remember on a day to day basis lol. Not even kidding.

Me and my friend Aaron hacked our friend Chris' rs account and stole like 400k and a glory amulet. (We were poor noobs back then) He told his mom and his mom called us and DEMANDED that we give back the items. We laughed and hung up. The next day he told the counselor at school and she said if I don't I'll get suspended. I never gave back the items and I never got suspended.
 
Back in 03-05 i used to have 18 Santa Hats, an once had a red partyhat, i also used to have 7 disk of returning.

The end. :'(
 
The first time I hit a 4. I took a screen shot and made it my computer background for about two months. ;)
