[Server] New Boss Monster.

I was thinking releasing a new boss and a new teleport area to the premium users, just so they don't get bored but the drop items should be all players.

This boss is a very powerful ancient mage with a lot of history and his goal is to destroy the Dodian players home of Yanille.

Kolodion (Level 112)

HP - 900
Mage Attack - Max of 17
Melee Attack - Max of 21
Hit Speed -

This monster could be placed somewhere in a new dungeon I haven't really found a suitable place for him but I'm sure the community could find a nice little home for him.

His dungeon will contain the infernal mages; all monsters in this dungeon will be non aggressive and possibly in this new dungeon the introduction of the rune rocks could be added here.

Kolodion's drops are as follows.

- Infinity Hat [PINK] (0.5%)
- Infinity Top [PINK] (0.5%)
- Infinity Bottoms [PINK] (0.5%)
- Infinity Boots [PINK] (0.5%)
- Infinity Gloves [PINK] (0.5%)
- Mage's Book (0.4%)
- Ancient Staff (0.6%)
- BLUE DYE (0.2%)
- WHITE DYE (0.2%)

The blue dye will give you the option to dye your infinity robes to the blue version and the white dye will do the exact same thing.

The infernal mages will be exactly the same as they are in my other suggestion. http://dodian.com/forums/showthread.php?t=85448

This is something for the "new era", with this being introduced it could also spark the new idea of a quest for ancient magiks; which I will create another suggestion for in the future as I have a great story line for oneo_O.

Yeah, dying your robes sounds hella fun. But perhaps the drop rates are a tad too high. Keyword: TAD. Lower a touch?

It's not hard to custom colour stuff, how do you think people make black partyhats and other stuff.

It's really not difficult to customise stuff into a server. It's not that difficult of an idea, that's why I suggested it.
 
The drops seem a bit too good for its level, don't you think? And don't you tell me that it's a private server and that it shouldn't matter what things drop, because this is a serious private server where things like drops do matter.

The idea of dying the robes seems interesting, though. :)
 
It's not hard to customise stuff into a server you say? Recolouring partyhats is easy when there is only one color, when there is multiple it's harder. It's a new item model from revision 600 something, not a recolor of infinity. It's easy to add, but why when this is 474 revision. Im not flaming just saying.
 
doing this is good but i think needs to be waitted on if prems get new mosters and bosses frist nonprems witch there r alot of will quit a bosses were eveyone can do will make more ppl come and join then later on make some spec prem only boss

Why on Earth would free players quit because premium members get a new boss monster? Wouldn't that just encourage them to buy it? I think it's high time we premium members get another boss monster. Free players have had enough already (for the time being).
 
How is it bad for non-prem Tyler?

As Losm said it does encourage people to buy prem and the non-prem still get access to the weapons they just can't kill the monsters who drop them.
 
i like the idea of dying robes. but instead of drop rate for a single dye being fairly low, you should make it extremely low and it drops enough dye for a whole set, that way colored robes would be very rare.

No sorry, people may want to mix it up. Bang the white in the top, slap the blue on the bottom, rep the pink on the hat and look like a gangstaaa.

Anyway people may want to wear other colours with others? if you know what I mean. It saves them wasting money on other sets and pieces and gives the dye some special value.
 
great idea, and i think we should make him bigger then skeletal wyvern, he'd be like .5 of the entire screen
