Well i have a problem with my server i have made a client and server i changed the ip in client.java (client sided) but still other players cant log in to my server from their pc. Today i changed my ip with ***** and still nothing so i was willing if any of Dodian members could help me :(
 
You need to portforward, do you know how to do this?

haha well when i did it like 5 years ago i couldnt get it to work for the life of me
edit: i am bad when it comes to coding and stuff along those lines haha

Do you use a router for your internet. If you do you'll need to log into the router and open up a port which will allow other users to connect to that port with the ip you use.

Server listening on port 0.0.0.0:43594

I am already on 43594 port but still no1 can login. Well like 3 weeks ago every1 was able to log in.

0.0.0.0 is localhost same as 127.0.0.1


This means only YOU can connect to it becuase its running on your local network not the network connected to the Internet.
 
go to *****.org to portforward , register complete the steps comprendo? are you planning to self host or get a dedicated hoster?

Well i once commented them out, but still nothing :/

Asgard i am hosting by myself + cant see the link.
 
which site do you use to portforward? back when i hosted my own server i used ... no - ip . org no spaces. then register and do what it tells you to then you are able to register an ip adress for people to get on your server.

yep i have it :p but still other players cant log in :/
 
Sariax you still have not answer if you got a router or not. How else are we suppose to help you?
If you can't find any help here maby try and google it?

well i dont use router my internet goes from cable connection.
 
Im taking it your using PI because thats what it says after you run the run.bat file. Portforwarding is quite simple actually ill explain:

Go to your router configuration A.K.A type this in your browser bar,

192.168.1.1

Now, type in the username and password if you have one for your router.

Look for Gaming or Portforwarding

It will look like this:

Name Port In Port Out Enable

RSPS 43594 43594 Yes

Well i dont have router becouse i cant connect to 192.168.1.1 :/
 
Well then maby hmm....
Have you setup no ip correctly and have you made sure you'd changed every ip on the client?
