Worlds smartest kid!

We've seen that at school, pretty easy if you get how it works.

There have been smarter people before. I think the highest IQ ever recorded was like 230?

Nonetheless, that kids got me beat by a good 40 points.

Very smart boy. An IQ of 170 is very hard to have. Its a gift. He's already in university classes. WOW

Just really makes you think how different his brain functions, and I mean if he didnt have autism.

I just saw the movie Limitless and it really goes to show you.

It is a brain disorder to be that smart. Well...not really a disorder, but a gift. He was diagnosed autistic and he's a genius. This is like the rain man and other stuff like that, but he seems socially normal now. His brain probably uses like 80% of its potential.

That 80% would have to include social skills. I think his brain just has higher activity in critical thinking (calculus,etc.).

He's not THE SMARTEST, the smartest is Kim Ung-Yong with an IQ of 210

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kim_Ung-Yong

I saw this video yesterday on my MSN, and i watched it. As a physics and math geek, i was definately impressed.

And even the most gifted of minds only unlock about 15% of brain potential

I love to bump.

IQ is simply a measure of capacity; not intelligence. Just because I have an IQ of 200 doesn't automatically mean I am smarter than a college student with an IQ of 100. It just means I'm capable of learning more.

Oh and, "genius" IQs are set at 200, I think. Not to mention, no one has Einstein's IQ on record. He never took an IQ test.

Oh and, IQ tests are flawed.

Need I go on?

Einstein had an estimated IQ of over 200, where the hell did 170 come from?

Anyways, if he did really did score a 170 like the article says he did, he's not the highest power of knowledge in the world like you are all making him up to be. Like Benz said, an IQ test measures your ability to learn and comprehend thoughts in your head faster, not how intelligent you are. So yes, he's "smart", but not the only one at that level. It's just remarkable how young he is though.

Why do people keep saying people only use 10% of their brain. How does anyone know what percent of our brains we use if we have never used 100% of them? I hate when people say that. You'd have to know what 100% is like to judge what 10% is. Get me?

@Scott: science tells us things like this.

Shortly after birth, Kim began to display extraordinary intellectual ability. He began speaking at 4 months, could converse fluently by 6 months, and was able to read Japanese, Korean, German, and English by his second birthday.

Quote from that page.

Now what can you say, some have it more than others.

Also just so you guys know, scientist can, since at least 10 years, make more intelligent babies by removing negative genes and amplifying the positive ones.

People say that because it has been proven by studies....
